This week we’ve more tables than IKEA.

22 Mar

After what seems like an eternity we finally have the latest round of results ready for scrutiny. This includes all the League and Cup games played between March 17th and 21st.

The FA Cup illustrated once more that it’s ability to shock remains firmly on the wane. Will we ever again see a high rolling team get a good trousering from a lower league side – it would seem that these days have passed.  Strange then that only one of us got more than one perfect score from the 3 completed games.

If you want to see where you won and lost here are your FA Cup predictions in detail (click the chart if you want to see it larger).

The Premiership has been like an elongated pub crawl, with the most recent games stretched over 5 days and some significant goals sneaking in before last orders, especially in the 78th minute. QPR 3 – Liverpool 2 was possibly the pick of the bunch, not that any of us managed to pick it. From the giddy heights of last week’s winning score of 16 points this week’s 3 joint winners could only manage 9 and the alphabet has been heavily deployed to keep us apart.

Again, if you’d like to see where it all went right or wrong here are your detailed Premiership predictions;

The good news is that the opportunity to make amends is already upon us. We have a proper weekend of Premiership football arriving faster than a Torres goal. So don’t delay a second and make sure that you upload your new forecasts into our rather nifty online form here. (Just remember you need to enter your name and list your scores with a ‘v’ – e.g. 2 v 1, 3 v 0, etc).

Happy punditry to all.
